Can I request items not in our online catalog?

InterLibrary Loan Request

If you are unable to find an item in the DuBois Library catalog or through Resource Sharing with other libraries in Clearfield County, you may request that an item be borrowed from another Pennsylvania library through Inter-Library Loan.  These books will be shipped to DuBois, though borrowing time may vary.  Inter-library loan requests through DuBois Public Library can only be made by patrons living in the City of DuBois or Sandy Township.  All other patrons must request Inter-Library Loan items through their home library.   Interlibrary Loan requests can take from 3 days to 3 weeks to process and arrive at the DuBois Library.

Library Purchase Request

If an item you are looking for is newly published, fill out a request for purchase form and the title will be under consideration as an addition to the library collection. We will also add your name to our wish list so if we do purchase the item, your name will be added to the hold list.
