Barefoot Books Available in Children's Library

DuBois Public Library News Column:   
    The Children’s Department at the DuBois Public Library has recently purchased a number of books from Barefoot Books.  These books are beautifully illustrated and contain stories from around the world that children are sure to enjoy.  Many of these books are in written form with an accompanying audio CD.
    Some of these books include: Lola’s Fandango by Anna Witte; Octopus Opposites by Stella Blackstone; Fireside Stories: Tales for a Winter’s Eve by Caitlin Matthews; The Barefoot Book of Fairies by Tanya Batt; Tales from Old Ireland by Malachy Doyle; The Barefoot Book of Knights by John Matthews; and Grandmother Stories by Burleigh Muten.

Fall Story Hours:
    The second session of Fall Story Hours has begun and will continue until December 15th.  There are three age groups: two-year olds meet from 10:00-10:30; My Three and Me 11:00-11:45; and the four-and-five year olds meet from 2:00-3:00. Story hours are free and include stories, songs, finger plays, and music, plus much more.  For further information call the Children’s Library at 371-5930 ext. 4.
