Have you wanted to try an IPad or Kindle Fire before you buy it? 
Do you want to know about what these new technologies can do for you?  

Make plans to attend our Technology Try-It session on Monday, December 16 from 4PM - 5PM, and get a chance to see these devices and learn more about them. 

We'll have Ipads, Kindle Fires, and information about other technologies.  To register, call @ 371-5930.

Science with Sean - December 12 at 4PM

DuBois Public Library  is beginning an exciting new environmental science series for children age 7 - 10!
                    
                When:  Second Thursday of each month – November through May - at 4PM
    
Combining literature and hands-on learning, this FREE series will present major concepts in environmental science and biology that are age-appropriate.  The sessions will be under the direction of Sean Petrick, a member of the library staff and a graduate of Juniata College in Environmental Information Systems, assisted by a volunteer. Parents should plan to also attend so they may continue the discussions at home, thereby optimizing the learning experience for their children.
 
Class sizes are limited. Please register by calling the library at 371-5930 and asking to speak with Sean. Each program will  require a new registration.

Holiday Happenings! - December 7        11AM - 2PM

Hear a story read by Mrs. Claus, decorate your own gingerbread house, or write a letter to Santa.  Kids will enjoy the Holiday Happenings at the Library.  But, Parents, don't forget to visit the Adult Department to see the wares at the Fair Trade Market. 

T is for Teen Nights!   Video and Board Game Night - Thursday, December 5 @ 5PM
