CLEARCREEK STATE PARK: MY ROOM UNDERGROUND
From chipmunks to Belted King Fishers, many animals head underground. Through hands-on activities discover some advantages to life in a burrow.

EXPLORE AN AFRICAN SAFARI STORYTIME
Go on an African Safari, with cool animal photos, crafts, and a truckload of safari fun.              Wednesday, June 19 - 10:30AM 

June 20    5:30PM      Nights in Asia
The library will be hosting a fun night of Asian cuisine and Asian inspired activities.  Along with a Martial Arts demo, there will be origami, plant your own bamboo, calligraphy, and Manga.  Be sure to stop at the food center where you can taste a variety of Asian recipes.

June 11    6PM            RiverQuest, sponsored by the PA Dept. of Environmental Protection, is devoted to                                       informing their audience about both sides of the issues from a neutral standpoint. 
                                      Join us as we learn about the gas industry through photos, discussion, and
                                      activities.  For ages 12 and up. 
                                      (This is our first event in our Young Adult lineup of events.)

                                        Join us for stories, song, and lots of silly, summer fun throughout June & July. 

June 13    10:30AM  & 6PM       Summer Science with Sean
                                                        There's so much to learn about the world we live in!  These interactive,
                                                        interpretive programs are geared to children age 5 and up.  Maximum
                                                        of twelve participants per program.  Registration is REQUIRED.  The
                                                        same topic will be covered at 10:30AM & 6PM.

                                                        Dirt is our topic on June 13.  Discover dirt!  Learn about the soil we
                                                        depend on and what makes it so special.
