There are two new sets of books in the Children’s Library at the DuBois Public Library. The first is a series of four books called All About America. The titles in the set include: Wagon Trains and Settlers; Gold Rush and Riches; Colonists and Independence; and Cowboys and the Wild West. These books have many historical facts that helped shape the United States of America, plus detailed reconstructions and original artwork from the period.
Great Expeditions is a set of five books written by Valerie Bodden. The titles are: Through the American West; To the Moon; To the Ocean Deep; To the Top of Mount Everest; and To the South Pole. These books include many photos depicting the events, a Timeline, Endnotes, a Bibliography, and information for further reading.
